Database – PL/SQL Developer

Roles:

Reporting to Solution Architect, the developer is expected to participate in translating and implementing business requirements into effective, scalable, and maintainable program code. Specifically, he or she shall:

*      Follow approved program specifications during all design, code, test, debug and document phases of assigned tasks and/or projects.
*      Develop code according to coding and naming conventions
*      Conduct unit and performance test
*      Write technical documentation of the code

Qualification:

Relevant Skills:

*      Min. of 4 years programming experience using Oracle PL/SQL
*      Knowledge using Oracle stored procedures, triggers and views required
*      Programming and Hands-on experience with packages, functions, procedures and other objects and should be able to build them from scratch.
*      Experience with writing select, insert, update, delete statements and other advance queries.
*      Experience with using oracle objects like tables, indexes, constraints, triggers, sequences and views, etc.
*      Experience with database design, administration and tuning performance is a plus.
*      Strong analysis skills and debugging skills.
*      Domain/Industry Experience in the Financial Services Industry / Banking domain will be highly regarded
*      Able to work 24×7 on preproduction and during standby support and
*      Be able to perform tasks under pressure
