Engineering Manager (Shipyard) – Indonesia
Key responsibilities
Set up the engineering department of the company and manage the following discipline; civil/structural, electrical and mechanical.
Provide direction in the growth of the engineering department.
Managing the present/incoming projects (conversion, repair, new build) of the company
Managing department’s concerns and issues during the planning and execution of projects, during conversions and subsequently operations for both internal and external clients.
Budgeting, cost estimation and control within the engineering department.
Supporting the commercial department in the preparation and costing of bids and proposals
Supporting the operations department in the engineering aspects of the operations
Assists in determining objectives and cost-benefit analysis to contribute to the development of a comprehensive design
Overall in-charge of shipboard operation & maintenance of all machineries and plants system

Skills and experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
MUST have 10 years relevant experience in a shipyard/marine industry and has held management positions
MUST have project management experience
