Job Description
Telemarketing is a method of direct marketing in which a salesperson solicits to prospective customers to buy products or services, either over the phone or through a subsequent face to face or Web conferencing appointment scheduled during the call.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Generate leads with 40-50 outbound calls daily into a defined market and territory including existing accounts
* Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects and existing accounts over the phone, via email and in person as appropriate
* Timely responding and selling to new opportunities
* Manage time effectively and be self-accountable
* Work with a monthly, quarterly and annual quota
* Ensure that the daily sales and lead reports are accurate and timely including pipeline forecasting
* Adhere to a defined sales process
* Manage all prospecting activity within the Database Platform
* Follow up to confirm proper follow through for prospects and existing accounts
* Guide the response process to ensure timely and professional responses are being sent
* Experience
* Must be a proven closer. Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented and confident with excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to get through the gatekeeper quickly and form substantive integrity-based relationships. Proficiency with MS Office and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of database and pipeline management is essential.
